Audubon Park is also close to multiple highways, including 40 and 540, allowing residents to easily access the surrounding cities such as downtown Raleigh, Cary, and Chapel Hill.

The homes vary between older homes from the late 1990's to newer construction. The single family homes typically have two to four bedrooms and open floor-plans, though sizes and styles can also vary with the neighborhood's town-homes.
