Boylan Heights
Boylan Heights is a beautiful historic neighborhood that covers 82 acres in downtown Raleigh, in between the Marbles Kid's Museum and Pullen Park. It is also just a few blocks away from the Raleigh Convention Center and Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. The neighborhood is on the National Register of Historic Places list as a Historic District, and was added in July of 1985. Boylan Heights is part of six local Historic Districts located in Raleigh. Its tremendous location allows residents to enjoy all the vibrant shops, restaurants, museums, and entertainment that the Capitol City has to offer. The neighborhood hosts multiple community events throughout the year such as the Art Walk and music nights. The majority of the homes are on the smaller side with traditional floor-plans, though there are also newly developed apartment buildings within the district.
