Dogwood Acres
Dogwood Acres is located less than five minutes away from UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Finely Golf Club, Mason Farm Biological Reserve, Southern Community Park, and downtown Chapel Hill. Quick access to multiple highways makes the neighborhood an easy commute to Duke University, Research Triangle Park, or downtown Raleigh. Though it is one of the areas smaller neighborhoods, Dogwood Acres offers residents wooded and private yards, creating a natural and tranquil setting while being only minutes from city life. Residents are also not far from recreational activities at the Carolina North Forest and Jordan Lake.
The homes in Dogwood Acres range from small, ranch style homes to medium-sized two-story homes. Many homes are built in town-home styles, though are still detached. There are also apartments or studios and actual townhomes in the newer areas of the neighborhood. The majority of the homes throughout Dogwood Acres were built in the mid 1980's to late 90's, however other homes were built recently while some older homes are being updated.
