Stone Creek is situated in what seems to be a forest haven tucked away in North Raleigh. Beautiful trees line the streets and allow the homes to have privacy and quaint forest views. Many of the homes sit on charming, rolling hills with large or deep-set lots. Most of the homes also feature brick or stone exteriors and range from traditional, contemporary, or colonial architectural styles. While many of the homes were built in the 1980s onward, many have also been beautifully updated.
Besides the scenic views, residents can enjoy the community tennis courts and pool. The neighborhood's popular North Raleigh location also places it just minutes from the downtown area. Creedmoor Road and Six Forks are just a few minutes down the street, which allow for just a short drive to Crabtree Valley Mall or North Hills. The Falls Lake State Recreation Area is around fifteen minutes away, while Wake Forest is just under twenty-five minutes East of the neighborhood.
