Stonehenge is a family-oriented, residential subdivision founded in 1977. There are nearly 1400 single-family residences in this popular North Raleigh community.

Properties in Stonehenge are situated on good size lots with mature landscaping. The neighborhood is close to shopping, dining, medical care, transportation and more.

Participation in The Stonehenge Homeowners' Association is 100% voluntary. The Association is governed by a Board of Directors, elected from members of the Association. The seven Directors administer the affairs of the Association in accordance with the governing documents. The Association supports various projects throughout the year, including the Stonehenge Living newsletter, the Stonehenge directory, social events, representation in neighborhood zoning and traffic projects, and various other community projects.

Adjacent to Stonehenge Neighborhood along Creedmoor Road is Seven Oaks Swim & Racquet Club a private enterprise - membership is not exclusive to the neighborhood but counts many Stonehenge families among its members. The popular club has three 10-lane swimming pools with diving wells, a water slide, a fenced baby pool and one adults-only pool, a racquet club, and 20 lighted tennis courts. The tennis complex is open year-round, and the swim complex operates from the weekend before Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Several popular retail shopping centers, including Stonehenge Market, Brennan Station, Greystone Village, and Towne North Plaza are near Stonehenge Neighborhood.

All of the groups have an open door policy and welcome new members.

The Stonehenge Book Club The Stonehenge Book Club meets the second (2nd) Thursday of each month in members' homes. The typical format is a discussion of the book followed by refreshments and sharing of information about people and events in our community.

The Stonehenge Supper Club The Stonehenge Supper Club meets several times per year in groups of four couples for a theme dinner. Past themes we have enjoyed are Italian, Mardi Gras, Caribbean, German and Asian. A planning meeting is held prior to plan the menu and swap recipes. No extraordinary cooking expertise is required.

The Stonehenge Women’s Network The Stonehenge Women’s Network is open to all women in Stonehenge. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday each month and are either a presentation or a social. Past presentations have been a master gardener, flower arranging, wine tasting and glass painting.
